Welcome to Your Final Project for Read 180!

Day 1-3

• Decide on your FAVORITE workshop from this year
  • Survivors
  • Killer Plagues
  • Combat Zone
  • When Music Offends
• Decide if you want to work on your own or with someone else
• Find a story that connects to the workshop you chose in some way
• Get Mrs. Jensen to approve your story and store the link and a copy of the story to a Word document (Mrs. Jensen will help with this!)

Day 3-12

• Find the main ideas/details in your story
• Write a summary (either in note form, on a graphic organizer in Inspiration, or in paragraph form)
• Go over your summary with one other student, have that person write one positive and one suggestion on your page
• Decide on a visual

• Get approval of your summary and visual idea from Mrs. Jensen
• Develop your visual
• Organize your information in a viewer-friendly method
• Include a reference page for any pictures, videos, music, documents you are using
• Plan how you want to present your information to Mrs. Jensen

Day 13-15

• Present your story and visual to a small group of your peers
• Listen to the other presentations in your group

Day 16

• Participate in the evaluation of your own project and the overall experience
